What goes into the price

We come to you

Filming and photos happen at your business, with your real space and people. No stock photos, ever.

Edited, not just recorded

Raw footage is cut into a smooth 15–20 second film and compressed to load fast on phones, with a still image when a phone blocks video.

Written for you

Every package tells your story. We write it from your materials, a call or an interview, and proofread every price and every hour.

Looked after

Your site runs on your own domain, is set up for Google, and is watched every month by our Care plan.

A do-it-yourself builder costs less up front, but you write, photograph, design and update it yourself. With us, that's our job.

Good to know

What happens in the free consult?

We visit or call, look at your current website and social media, and tell you what we'd do and what it would cost. It's free, and you're under no obligation.

How long does it take?

We build most websites in about a week after our visit. With your review and changes, most sites go live in two to three weeks. DGTool Your Brand takes longer because of the photo session and interview.

Why is DGTool Care included with every website?

A website needs hosting, security and backups to stay online, and your menu, prices and specials need to stay current. DGTool Care covers both: we keep the site running and make small updates for you, like a new menu item, a price change or this week's special (up to 30 minutes a month). It's $59 a month (6-month minimum, then month to month), or $590 a year paid up front, which is two months free. Need more updates than that? DGTool Grow includes unlimited small edits.

Do I own my website?

Yes. If you ever leave, you get all your site files at no charge. We never hold a site hostage.

How do payments work?

50% to start, 50% at launch. Monthly plans are billed each month, and DGTool Care can also be paid once a year.

Want more video? We also make professional videos on request, usually $200 to $500 depending on the editing: a new walk-in film, menu and food updates, or a video for a new promotion.

Are there other costs?

Your domain name (your web address, like yourbusiness.com) costs about $15 a year. You pay it directly, so it's always in your name.

Optional extras: an extra filming or photo day ($300), an extra page ($150), and a $75 travel fee for locations far from us. DGTool Your Brand covers up to 5 pages; bigger sites get a quote after the free consult.

Rush launch: if you need your site live in under two weeks, we add 25%. That covers moving your project ahead of others and the extra hours it takes to meet your date.

Will you get me to #1 on Google?

Nobody honest can promise that. We do the work that helps, report the results every month, and never post fake reviews.

The walk-in film

The 14 seconds that open the site

About us

Everyone has tools. You need the right one.

The idea came fast. Two days after Kevin first had it, we looked at each other and said, "Wait, are we actually doing this?" Then we sat down, talked through what we could offer, and researched everything we could find.

What we found bothered us. Freelancers filling in templates for owners and calling it a website. Companies charging a monthly fee without doing anything to help the business itself. We've worked in small businesses and in marketing, so we know what owners already carry: the customers, the staff, the bills. They don't need one more thing to manage.

That's why we started DGTool Studios. DG is Digital Growth, and the tool is us: the right tool, used the right way, working next to you as a guide.

What we'll never do

  • Promise results we can't deliver
  • Disappear when you need us
  • Pretend to care about your problems. When we say we care, we mean it.

How we'll know we did our job

When you trust us completely, and you recommend us to your closest friends because you've seen what we did for your business.

Meet the founders

Kevin Gapi Robledo

Co-founder · Code, filming and social media marketing

Kevin grew up in Astoria and lived there for 22 years. Golden Star was part of that, which is why it's the first business we chose to help grow: he knows what a local restaurant means to a town.

He started teaching himself to code around 14, including how to secure a website and keep it safe. Filming came later. The first shoot was new and hard; the camera got fixed, the gear got better, and every shoot since has taught him something.

Today he builds and secures your site, films your space, and runs the social media side: what to post, when, and why.

“With enough creativity, you get to build everything you imagine.”
