Privacy Policy

This page explains what DGTool Studios LLC ("we", "us") collects when you visit dgtoolstudios.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we collect what you type into our inquiry form so we can answer you, we don't sell anything about you, and we don't run ads that follow you around.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you use the inquiry form, we get your name, your business name, your email or phone number, what you checked, and anything you write in the message. If you email or call us, we get what you send.
• Basic visit data. Like almost every website, our host keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, the pages you opened and when) to keep the site running and secure.
• Visit statistics, only if you say yes. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so we can improve the site. It loads only after you click Accept on our cookie banner; if you click No thanks, it doesn’t load at all. When it runs, it sets cookies in your browser and sends visit data (such as pages viewed, rough location, and device and browser type) to Google, which processes it for us. Google Analytics 4 doesn't store IP addresses.

We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and our services are for businesses.

Why we use it

• To answer your inquiry, set up a free consult, and send you a quote
• To do the work if you hire us, and to send invoices
• To keep the site secure and understand, in total, how people use it

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.

Who else handles it

A few services help us run this site and our business. They only get what they need to do their job:

• Website hosting: Cloudflare Pages
• Inquiry form delivery: Web3Forms, which passes your message to our inbox
• Email: Google Workspace
• Fonts: Google Fonts loads our typeface, which means your browser contacts Google's servers
• Visit statistics: Google Analytics

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

If you don't become a client, we delete your inquiry within 12 months of our last conversation. If you do, we keep project and billing records as long as we need them for the work and for tax records, usually up to 7 years.

Your choices

• See, correct or delete it: email us and we'll do it within 30 days. We may need to keep billing records the law requires.
• Visit statistics: change your answer any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. You can also block cookies in your browser or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same whatever you choose.

Client websites

This policy covers dgtoolstudios.com only. The websites we build for clients belong to those businesses, and each one has its own privacy policy.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
